Does ServiceTech unbox computers and get them running on the network?
We do just that! We take delivery of your new hardware and build, configure and undertake rigorous tests at our premises. Once the hardware has been re-sited to your company premises, we will attach it to the network and get it configured for the user.
Do you do network cabling?
ServiceTech use a select Island based network cabling firm. Your business can be sure that any cabling undertaken will be of high quality with an added advantage brought through consistency of approach. This work can be done in a much shorter time than if you were to contract the work yourself.
Will you support our ERP system? How can you possibly know everything about all applications?
We are technical experts in general-purpose operating systems and in mass-market applications like office applications, SQL servers and e-mail servers. For industry specific applications, we will support them if the customer maintains a support contract with the original vendor that gives us a place to go with specific questions and a channel for receiving patches and updates. Without a support contract, we are unable to support niche applications.
Are you a "Microsoft Shop"?
We have specific expertise in Windows, with partner expertise in UNIX, Macintosh, and NetWare, and while 90% of our work and 80% of our clients are deployed on Windows we don't concentrate on that platform to the exclusion of others. More to the point, we don't form exclusive relationships with any vendors, hardware or software, so that you can trust our independence.
Can we buy equipment from you?
Yes. ServiceTech are a reseller for many products. We maintain complete independence from vendors so there's never any conflict of interest when we make recommendations. Our recommendations for hardware and software are based upon analyses of your business requirements. We are not tied to propriety products and your project will be managed bearing cost versus performance in mind at all times.
